The panel did not agree. Early Christian literature such as the Didache (8.3) explicitly prescribed praying three times daily, and early church fathers documented the regular practice of night vigils among early believers. There are sources describing Jewish prayer customs of fixed daily prayer and night vigils, and some early Jewish-Christian groups likely retained Jewish devotional patterns. But I did not find a source establishing this as a general practice of all 'early Israelite Christians' specifically. Outside mainstream endorsement: Early texts such as the Didache (8:3) explicitly instruct believers to pray three times daily, preserving traditional Jewish prayer cycles within the early Christian community.
